Navitaire posts another great year in 2004

Navitaire had another highly successful year in 2004, adding new product suites and new customers at a fast pace. We’re excited and honored to be one of the fastest growing technology service providers in the airline industry.

New Products and Services Added in 2004

Last March, Navitaire acquired new breakthrough technology for airline operations recovery through our purchase of Caleb Technologies’ software. The new technology delivers fast, highly optimized solutions to quickly return aircraft, crew and scheduled passengers to their previous schedules following flight disruptions or cancellations. With so many operational factors out of an airline’s control, these advanced tools deliver effective and fast solutions to get your airline ‘back on track’ quickly and efficiently, by using highly sophisticated operations research tools to resolve complex operations problems. At the IATA Revenue Management (RM) conference in October 2004, Navitaire demonstrated our newest hosted product, SkyPriceTM Pricing Optimization Services. We really appreciated the warm reception and keen interest in this new tool which provides airlines with a highly advanced solution for pricing and revenue management in today’s new low-fare airline revenue environment. With low-fare airlines adhering to few of the traditional fare "restrictions", traditional RM tools are struggling to deliver value to many airlines. With SkyPrice, you can now optimize pricing and inventory decisions simultaneously using highly sophisticated operations research technology. Fifteen New Customers

We also added 15 new customers to our growing customer list with the addition of new carrier models. These carrier business models include:

  • New low-fare airlines and low-fare airline subsidiaries
  • Airlines converting from a regional feeder model to a low-fare carrier model
  • Airlines with new scheduled-services "single-seat" inventories which augment their existing charter operations

Take a look at our customer list, and you’ll notice many of the industry’s most impressive names, and profitable, fast-growing and innovative airlines. You’ll see that we have virtually every corner of the globe represented, and many of the world’s most successful airlines. The strength of our customer portfolio demonstrates the depth and breadth of our technology services.

Six Customer Renewals

We also had six existing Navitaire renew their relationships with Navitaire in 2004. We’ve really enjoyed watching many of our customers grow dramatically over the last year - in passenger volumes, revenue, and profitability. We are proud to be a part of their success story.

We are especially honored that several customers renewed their agreement with Navitaire for an extend term and well in advance of the contractually required date.
