Navitaire Acquires Data Center Service Provider

Acquisition Solidifies Airline ASPs Operations Infrastructure

Minneapolis; June 13, 2001: Navitaire Inc. one of the airline industry's leading application services providers (ASPs) today announced the acquisition of the Minneapolis data center operations arm of Herndon Virginia based ServiceNet LLC, to further strengthen its ASP service offerings for the airline industry.

Navitaire is a leading global application and business service provider of advanced outsourcing solutions for airline passenger transaction processing. The company provides revenue management and revenue protection services for more than a third of the world's largest airlines and has developed one of the industry's most innovative Internet direct connect distribution channels.

Navitaire will obtain the ServiceNet Minneapolis data center along with approximately 40 IT and operations personnel. The Minneapolis location has been providing production application hosting services for the past 7 years. The acquisition will allow Navitaire to expand the hosting of its proprietary Revenue Accounting and Revenue Management applications along with the Open Skies airline reservation system.

"This acquisition will allow us to more effectively integrate production operations into our service delivery model," said Tom McClain CEO of Navitaire. "It more than doubles our data center capacity to meet our growing number of worldwide customers as well as quickly adding technology and operations skills to better serve our existing customers."

Navitaire now provides its hosted services from data centers located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Salt Lake City, Utah, Sydney, Australia and London, England.
