Navitaire® Launches Multi-Host Airline Revenue Management Services

CanJet and Jetsgo Go Live With Hosted Manugistics NetWORKS Airline Revenue Optimizer

Minneapolis; October 15, 2002: Navitaire today announced that Canadian low fare airlines CanJet and Jetsgo, have successfully implemented Manugistics' NetWORKS Airline Revenue Optimizer (ARO), a Navitaire hosted revenue management system.

CanJet and Jetsgo are the first customer installations since Navitaire and Manugistics announced their alliance to deliver an affordable, hosted version of Manugistics state-of-the-art NetWORKS ARO revenue management system to the growing number of midsize and low fare airlines.

ARO's flexible, comprehensive controls deliver increased revenues of 3% to 7% to airlines through improved customer demand forecasts, inventory allocation recommendations, and overbooking management. The Navitaire hosted NetWORKS ARO system includes technology services, implementation, functional support, and a flexible business analytics tool providing robust reporting, role based management dashboards and data mining capabilities.

CanJet and Jetsgo are the first of six Navitaire customers to install the hosted Navitaire ARO system by the first quarter of 2003, adding to Navitaire's growing base of 15 airlines using its revenue management systems. Based on the popularity of the hosted ARO solution, Navitaire estimates that a total of 20 airlines will be using the Navitaire host arrangements within the next 18 months.
